Math Success Workshop for Middle - High School Students

The same foundational math skills continue to trip students up year after year, making higher-level math feel harder than it needs to be.

In this ongoing class, we identify the specific skills your student struggles with most and target them through engaging, hands-on activities. Students will strengthen their ability to:

✅ Operations with positive and negative numbers
✅ Round, estimate, and calculate efficiently
✅ Understand and apply fractions
✅ Recognize patterns and factor effectively
✅ Solve area, volume, and geometry problems with ease

By repeatedly practicing these high-impact skills, students build automaticity—the ability to solve problems quickly and accurately without overthinking. That means less frustration and more success in algebra, geometry, and advanced math courses.

Perfect for students who need to catch up, keep up, or move ahead, this class lays the groundwork for true math confidence.Students will also learn valuable study skills such as effective note-taking, focus techniques, and methods for staying motivated and organized throughout the school year.

Chaska High School, Room G200.3 Thursdays, Nov 6-Dec 18 (no class 11/27) 3:00-3:55. $140. Register by emailing cynthiadmullen@hotmail.com.
